Vesper
a window that becomes a house
Overview
A dark, sculptural villa homepage: an oval window grows with the scroll until it becomes a 26-second camera journey through the house.
Architecture that opens like a window
Vesper presents a sculptural villa of white curves, oval openings and still water. Its homepage begins on a black page with a single oval in it: the house, seen through a window. As the visitor scrolls, the window grows until it is the screen and the camera moves into the villa.
The work spans art direction, an AI-generated film and imagery, UX/UI and frontend development: the opening, a 26-second scroll-driven film, a philosophy, two spaces, material notes and a private collection of photographs. Vesper is a conceptual project; the villa, its film and its photographs are generated, not a property for sale.

One oval, from the first frame to the last
The window is an ellipse with fixed coordinates, placed to the right of the headline on desktop and lower and wider on a phone. Scroll grows it until it fills the screen while the headline steps back; behind it, one continuous take of the villa, upscaled to 1080p and interpolated to 48 frames a second, moves through the gathering, the sanctuary and the horizon.
The same oval draws the loader: the download traces it in silver in the middle of the screen with its real progress, then the oval slides into the hero's window and the house appears inside it. It returns, small, in the wordmark and in the collection.

Dark, sculptural, exact
Mineral, graphite, pearl and silver, two light typefaces, the geometry of the oval, a few components drawn in silver, one camera move and the loader. These six studies accompany the opening.
Calm after the opening
After the film the page is quiet and editorial: a statement on what a home should do, two spaces in overlapping photographs, the architecture in native disclosures that open one at a time, and a private collection of five photographs in its own viewer, with arrow keys, Escape and focus returned where it came from.
The residence notes save as a plain text file and nothing is sent. With reduced motion or data saving, the film and the pinned tour are skipped; the opening stays still and every photograph and note remains available.

On a phone the window drops lower and widens, the film keeps its own lighter cut and shorter travel, and the collection fills the screen.
